We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

We stand behind the quality of our skincare products. If you're not satisfied, we offer a 30-Day Money Back Guarantee subject to the terms below.


1. 30-Day Money Back Guarantee

We offer a full refund of the product purchase price within 30 days of the delivery date (as confirmed by carrier tracking), provided all eligibility requirements in Section 2 are met.

2. Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for a refund under our money-back guarantee, all of the following must be true:

  • a. Time Window: The return request must be submitted within 30 calendar days of the delivery date.
  • b. Product Remaining: At least 60% of the original product (by volume/weight) must remain in the container at the time of return. We reserve the sole right to determine remaining product volume upon inspection, and refunds may be denied if this threshold is not met.
  • c. One-Time Use: Each customer is entitled to one (1) refund under this guarantee per lifetime, regardless of the number of orders placed, accounts created, shipping addresses used, or payment methods. We reserve the right to deny refunds to customers who have previously received a refund under this policy.
  • d. Original Purchaser: Refunds are only available to the original purchaser with a valid order number. Products purchased from third-party retailers, resellers, or unauthorized sources are not eligible.
  • e. Proof of Purchase: A valid order number and proof of purchase are required.

3. How to Request a Refund

  1. Email [support@algaeaurafarms.com] within 30 days of delivery with the subject line "Refund Request – [Order #]."
  2. Include your order number, reason for the return, and clear photos of the product showing the remaining contents.
  3. We will review your request within 3–5 business days. 

4. Return Shipping

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
  • We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit.
  • Original shipping charges paid at the time of purchase are non-refundable.

5. Refund Processing

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval or rejection.
  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of inspection.
  • If the returned product does not meet the eligibility requirements (e.g., less than 60% remaining, outside the 30-day window, signs of tampering or contamination), we reserve the right to deny the refund and return the product to you at your expense, or dispose of it if you do not respond within 14 days.

6. Non-Returnable Items

The following are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Items marked "Final Sale," "Clearance," or "Non-Returnable" at the time of purchase
  • Gift cards
  • Free promotional items, samples, or items received as part of a bundle (unless the entire bundle is returned)
  • Products purchased outside of [your website URL]
  • Subscription orders beyond the first shipment (see Section 9)

7. Damaged or Defective Products

We take full responsibility for damage that occurs during shipping. If your product arrives damaged or defective, we will send a free replacement subject to the following:

7.1 How to Report Damage

  • You must report shipping damage within 7 calendar days of the delivery date (per carrier tracking).
  • Email [support@algaeaurafarms.com] with the subject line "Damaged Shipment – [Order #]."
  • You must provide all of the following:
    • a. Your order number.
    • b. Clear, well-lit photos of the damaged product(s).
    • c. Clear photos of the outer shipping packaging, including any visible damage to the box or mailer.
    • d. A photo of the shipping label still attached to the package.
    • e. A brief written description of the damage.

7.2 Replacement Terms

  • Once we verify the claim, we will ship a free replacement of the same item to the original shipping address at no cost to you.
  • You are not required to return the damaged product unless we specifically request it. If requested, we will provide a prepaid return label.
  • Replacements are limited to one (1) replacement per order line item.

7.3 Anti-Abuse Protections

To protect against fraudulent claims, we reserve the right to:

  • a. Deny replacement requests submitted without complete photographic evidence as listed in Section 7.1.
  • b. Require the damaged product to be returned (prepaid) before issuing a replacement when damage patterns appear inconsistent with shipping damage.
  • c. Limit or deny future damage claims from any customer or shipping address with a pattern of repeated damage claims that, in our reasonable judgment, exceeds normal carrier damage rates.
  • d. File a claim with the shipping carrier, which may require your cooperation, including a signed statement of damage.
  • e. Refuse service, cancel orders, or close accounts of customers we identify as engaging in fraudulent claims, including reporting suspected fraud to law enforcement and payment processors.
  • f. Deny claims where the damage appears to have occurred after delivery (e.g., product opened and improperly stored, or damage inconsistent with packaging condition).

7.4 Lost Packages

If tracking indicates a package is lost in transit (no movement for 10+ business days), contact us and we will investigate with the carrier. If the package is confirmed lost, we will ship a replacement at no charge. Packages marked "Delivered" by the carrier but not received are handled on a case-by-case basis and may require a signed affidavit of non-receipt; we are not liable for theft after carrier-confirmed delivery.


8. Allergic Reactions & Skin Sensitivity

Skincare products can affect individuals differently. We strongly recommend performing a patch test before full use. If you experience an adverse reaction:

  • Discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional.
  • You may submit a refund request under Section 2 (the 60% remaining requirement is waived for documented allergic reactions, provided you submit a photo of the reaction and a brief description within 30 days of delivery).
  • We do not provide medical advice, and our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.

9. Subscription Orders

For recurring subscription orders, the 30-Day Money Back Guarantee applies only to the first shipment. Subsequent shipments are non-refundable but may be canceled at any time before the next billing date through your account or by contacting us.

10. Chargebacks

We ask that you contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company. Fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks (e.g., for products delivered as described where no refund request was first made through our process) may result in account termination and may be disputed with documentation including delivery confirmation, communication records, and product photos.

11. Policy Changes

We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. Changes apply to orders placed after the effective date of the revised policy.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
